Bad Day

I have the worst day since I relocated to Las Vegas.This morning I goes to my car to go to school my car would not start.I have roadside assistance with my insurance. The guy come to my house and tell me I need a battery.I am thinking that I could go to any auto place and get a battery. He told me since I have a Mercedes Benz I would have to get a battery from them. When the guy show me the battery I got sick to my stomach I can only image what the battery going to cost.

Presentation

What have I got myself into? I keep asking myself this question over and over again. I am going to try do a presentation next week in class on Michael Jordan. I am stressing because this is my first time ever doing a presentation alone with learning words. Sometimes I want to give up, but I made a promise to my father that I would be the first Alexander to receive a college degree. Have anyone felt like just quitting but no you can't because its something you want and you made a promise to someone special?

Good morning classmates,
     I am sorry that I miss class yesterday.I just want to let all you guys know I really appreciated all the support and positive feed back. Also, I want to inform you guys I am feeling more comfortable working on the computers and doing the exercises we have to complete. I want to give a special thanks to Professor Wu, before class started Professor Wu has been working with me everyday including the weekend. I wouldn't have got this far without him and classmates like you guys. I am still learning but I am more comfortable, Again thank you all.

Inspirational

I was watching AmericaGotTalent and this kid Kodi is legally blind and autistic. When his mother walked him on stage all the judges look surprised. Gabriella Union asked Kodi what he was going to do, Kodi, told her that he was going to sing a song. During the time he was talking his disability was in play. Kodi could not say a complete sentence but when Kodi started to sing the song, not only did the judges had tears in their eyes so did I. The reason I am sharing this is because seeing Kodi win AmericaGotTalent inspired me that I can conquer computer and pass any test. Thank you Kodi.

Rough Day

I am still in class with the professor. Today were very difficult for me. I had to catch up with the rest of the class. While the professor explain the procedure for next week I wanted to get up and walk out of the class because I know that I will not pass the test, but all this week I am going to practice and if any of my classmate are willing to work with me, I am willing to meet with you I really need the help and would very much appreciate it. I am not a quitter I guess that why I am still here and if I do not pass on the first chance I am going to continue until I do pass. 

You are never too old to learn

I am 57 years old and this is first time I am learning computers. I couldn't  have asked for a better teacher. Before class started Prof.Wu have work with me and continuing to work with any day of the week. How many Professor do anyone know that give up their personal time to work with their students. Professor Wu, again you are one of a kind.

Tammy Learning Computers

I am very proud that Professor Wu is taking the time to teach me how to use a computer. I am like a little kid with her favor candy. I wish I would have learned how to used computer at a younger age but you are never too old to learn. I recommend all students that need to learn computers take Professor Wu's class. I have never had a Professor that give so much of his personal time to his students.

Also, this is my first time learning how to post on Blogger. I guess after my classmate or whomever read this would ask themselves what has she been doing with computers? The answer to that question would be I was not interest in computers, but in today's society you need to know and understand computers and computer technology.
